In Rieder, in the Harz region of Germany, there is a station. Built in 1891, it is a characterful building steeped in history. Around 2000, Deutsche Bahn discontinued service to this station and put the building, half of the platform, and a piece of land up for sale. After seven years of renovation, it reopened in 2016. This is your chance to stay in an old station building! The Suite is on the top floor. You have to climb two original spiral staircases to get there. Once you reach the top, you will have a fantastic view of Quedlinburg and the decades-old chestnut trees on the driveway. It is very spacious with a large bathroom, a unique bunk bed, and a loft with a fixed staircase leading to the double bed.
