In an unspoiled corner of the Italian Alps, opposite Monviso, we open the doors of our nature houses, a small hamlet immersed in the woods at an altitude of 900 meters, accessible via a dirt road just over 1 km long, by car in 10 minutes or on foot in about twenty minutes from the parking lot in the square of the Certosa di Mombracco in the municipality of Barge, Cuneo. The hamlet, which was abandoned at the time of purchase, has retained its original features; the redevelopment was carried out in green building style, using ecological stone/wood/cement/paint and natural fibers for insulation. The hamlet consists of a large long house, a small house for 2 people, and the house where we live. The large long nature house for 4 people consists of two bedrooms and a living room with a balcony overlooking the mountains, a kitchen, and a bathroom with shower. For the winter, the heating is wood-burning. In the silence of the forest, we offer a stay of peace and quiet.
