Ever stayed in a former station building? The station building of Munkzwalm in the heart of the Flemish Ardennes is home to vacation home De Stoasie. We have taken great care in renovating this building and are proud to present to you a cozy, fully equipped vacation home with two double rooms and a sleeping area.
The building is within walking distance from the center of Munkzwalm and by train you have a fast connection to Brussels and Kortrijk. By the way, due to the high-quality insulation, you can hardly hear the train passing by even though it stops only a few meters from the building.
The Zwalm region is a walking and cycling paradise. People from far and wide come to this beautiful region to observe the beautiful nature and magnificent views. Here and there an old mill pops up in these picturesque landscapes. The Zwalm region therefore has a milling tradition that is still kept alive. Some mills now house catering establishments so there is no lack of good food in this region either.
The vacation house is located above our pub where you can enjoy a dish of the day, a Flemish classic or a regional beer.
