As a family we love the East Cantons and hiking in the High Fens. Since 35 years, the Venentrakkers still meet monthly at the Vennhaus for a day hike through the Fagnes. Furthermore, a few times a year the family comes to the Vennhaus to get together and enjoy the barbecue and the beautiful view over the valley of the Warchenne from the large terrace after a nice hike.
