New Life is a family business where we have three generations growing up and living together. In 2017 we took the step to build our group accommodation completely new. Sustainability, service, care orientation, personal approach, fitting on Texel, tranquility, space, nature, luxury, quality and professionalism are central to this.

It all started with Farm New Life.
“Grandpa Eelman” built the farm in 1928. From time immemorial boarders were received in the house, in addition to the farming activities. Around 1965, the first groups arrived who, once the cattle went out of the barns, could sleep on fresh hay in the farmhouse.

In 1967, son Paulus took over the helm. Although farming continued, group accommodation became more professional. There were (bunk) beds and the accommodations for groups were adapted to the times. When the farm activities were discontinued in 1986, the focus shifted to the guesthouse. Many groups such as schools, families and associations have stayed at Nieuw Leven and had an unforgettable time.

A few years back, son Martijn with his wife Hendina and daughters came to live at Nieuw Leven and joined the business. Because the group accommodation no longer met today's requirements, the choice was made to build a completely new one. Hospitality is a profession and is in the genes of the family.
