This detached holiday home actually offers "The Best of Both Worlds": It is a cozy holiday home in a quiet location on a beautiful and small-scale holiday park in the middle of nature. A large sunny garden all around with lots of privacy and several places to sit in the sun as well as in the shade. In the lovely garden it soon becomes clear to what the holiday home owes its name "Vogelzang". The house is located in nature reserve "De Hondsrug" and borders on Natura 2000 area. Directly from the house you can make many beautiful walks, bike rides and mountain bike tours. (Electric) bicycles can be rented at the park or brought along and placed in a closed storage room at the house. The largest Hunebedden in the Netherlands are a short walk away. Swimming pools and natural swimming water a short (cycling) distance from the house.

In addition, within a few minutes' walk, the popular "Attractiepark Drouwenerzand" is located. Children between the ages of 4 and 17 will have a great time here in the various attractions. The residents of the holiday home have free and unlimited access to this park during their stay. All consumptions in the amusement park (fries, sandwiches, snacks, drinks, ice creams) are also free and included in the rent. The amusement park does not cause any (noise) nuisance for the residents of the holiday home.
