An extraordinary semi-underground nature cottage for up to two adults and two children. In Hoek van Holland, an old German telephone bunker from World War II has been transformed into an ecological residence. You will stay in the nature reserve and national monument the Vinetaduin of Stichting het Zuid-Hollands Landschap. This dune houses as many as 70 bunkers from four layers of military history. The telephone bunker is located in the northern part, near the Hoek villa district and access to the beach. You sleep under the habitat of the fox, marten, natterjack toad and sand lizard, among others. The transformation of the telephone bunker involved working with progressive designers and builders. They have given the bunker a new peaceful function as ecologically and circularly as possible. The bunker is equipped with all conveniences. Included: bedding, bath linens, soap, shampoo, coffee, tea and basic kitchen supplies. Please note that pets are not allowed.
