Chalet in Mariapfarr

The AlpiNest holiday village is situated directly on the tranquil Taurach mountain stream. The village first opened its doors in 2018 and was expanded in 2023 with six solidly built chalets, one of which is now for sale.

Guests enter the chalet through the entrance area, which leads directly to the practical ski and utility room—perfect for storing equipment after a wonderful day in the snow. Afterwards, everyone can cook, dine, and relax together in the spacious, bright, and modern open-plan living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen. The ground-floor bathroom, featuring a built-in sauna, promises wellness and relaxation.

The three bedrooms on the upper floor impress with high ceilings while exuding a cozy alpine charm. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with double beds, one of which has its own en-suite bathroom. The third bedroom contains two bunk beds. The chalet can accommodate up to eight guests comfortably.

About 100 km southeast of the city of Salzburg, the 15 particularly sheltered villages of the Lungau holiday region are situated on a high plateau between the Niedere Tauern mountains to the north and the Nockberge to the south. In the southern part of the Salzburg region lies the municipality of Mariapfarr at an altitude of 1,100 meters. Here—surrounded by picturesque mountain peaks—you will find ideal conditions for a holiday in Austria.

Once Frau Holle has shaken her feather beds over the Lungau, skiers and snowboarders face a delightful choice. Several top ski resorts with perfectly groomed slopes are ready to explore. Even off the slopes, winter in Mariapfarr has much to offer: cross-country trails through the snow-covered landscape, guided ski tours, snowshoe hikes up the surrounding slopes, and fun toboggan runs await.

In summer, it’s time to lace up your hiking boots and explore peaks and alpine pastures in areas such as the Riedingtal-Zederhaus Nature Park, the Weißpriachtal, or the Schladminger Tauern. Whether on scenic trails or from one mountain lake to another, numerous huts and breathtaking viewpoints invite you to pause and enjoy the surroundings. For those who prefer to feel the wind in their face, cycling on a bike or e-bike is an excellent option. In addition, the region offers a wide range of other activities, including climbing, paragliding, horseback riding, and golf.
