My parents have been coming to the Burg Reuland area for almost 40 years. After several times renting a vacation home for their family in Weveler and Ouren, they first bought their own home. Shortly after this followed the purchase of the 2 vacation homes. My parents are now of age and for the past 1.5 years I have been in charge of renting them out.
I also enjoy visiting this region with my husband and children. I like to hike in this beautiful region and my husband likes to explore the region on racing bike and/or MTB. In the years that we come there, it has become quieter in the village, away from hotel/restaurant, this is certainly missed, but therefore certainly not worth exploring the region ... At 10 minutes you are by car in Weiswampach for nice restaurants, shopping center and so much more.
I would say try it too ;-) !
