Hello, We are Michiel and Gerda from Ermelo. Michiel is self-employed in construction and I work as a supervisor in the care for the disabled. Together we have 4 children who have all left the nest. In 2018 we bought a vacation home in Oostkapelle which we restyled completely to our liking and which we now rent out. In May of 2021 we bought this cottage in Putten. We have already made it partially to our liking (so much fun to do) and now it is so ready that we can start renting it out.
Our cottage is on a small and quiet park "De Kastanjehof" We have called the huiske "El Granero". A cottage with the luxury and comfort of the present but the atmosphere is a nod to the past. The cottage is detached and has an enclosed garden, this offers a lot of privacy. Inside you will find on the first floor the living room which is in open connection with the kitchen, this gives a very spacious effect. Also on the first floor there are a hall and a toilet. From the hall you go down the stairs. There are the bedrooms: a large master bedroom with a bed of 1.80 m wide and two smaller bedrooms, one with a box bed and one with bunk beds. From our house you can explore our beautiful Veluwe with its endless hiking and biking trails and its beautiful villages and towns. There are also a host of other activities to do. After a wonderful day out, our house is a homecoming. Where you can relax and unwind. We have decorated this house with a lot of attention and love and will continue to do so for now because it can always be even better. We still have so many plans to make it even more fun and attractive. Although now it is already a mega nice and cozy house to spend the vacations. Because say it ???? where is the chicken on the table and the pigs next to the couch. In El Granero smoking and pets are NOT allowed.
