Vakantiehuis in Wirdum

This Nature House is located outside the village of Wirdum, 20 km from Groningen. Here, among the vast fields, you can experience peace and space. Where the characteristic straw house used to stand behind the Heerkenheerd farmhouse, a new chalet will be built in 2025. The house has been redesigned with respect for the original straw house, but with all the comforts of today.
The chalet is spacious, light, and fully equipped. Downstairs you will find a cozy living room with a sitting area and dining area, a modern kitchen with a Quooker, dishwasher, induction hob, fridge-freezer, and coffee maker. There is also a washer-dryer combination. The bathroom is completely new and equipped with a nice walk-in shower. Everything is heated by underfloor heating. Upstairs there are two bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with two single beds. The spacious landing gives the whole place an open feeling. A cot is available on request. Please note: the reviews for 2025 are for the old straw house.
