Casa Pietro - MistrettaCasa Pietro is located in the municipality of Reitano in the province of Messina.It is a charming country house surrounded by greenery and with a beautiful view of the sea and the Aeolian Islands.The property can be reached along a state road in perfect condition that leads from the motorway exit of Santo Stefano di Camastra to the hills of Mistretta in just a few minutes.Driving along this road among the hills, one can enjoy a splendid view of the sea, the landscape is truly breathtaking.The property is located at an altitude of about 600 metres.It therefore enjoys a cool, breezy climate that is especially pleasant in the spring and summer months.The house is less than 3 km from the town of Mistretta and just over 5 km from the town of Reitano.Although immersed in greenery and tranquillity, the house is only a few minutes' drive from the main commercial activities where it will be possible to find groceries, shops, restaurants and bars.The sea can be reached in less than 15 minutes by car while the beautiful Palermo is just over 100km away.The international airport Falcone Borsellino can be reached in just over 1 hour.The House The property is totally fenced off. Once through the entrance gate you will find yourself in a rustic house made of typical stone with a beautiful patio from which you can enjoy a magnificent view.From here, continuing along a stone corridor adorned with beautiful flower beds with many ornamental plants, you will find yourself on a large veranda terrace equipped with an outdoor kitchen and oven. The house is nestled among the hills, the feeling is that of being engulfed by nature and peace.The land in front of the terrace measures approximately 1,000 square metres. On it you will find several fruit trees and ornamental plants as well as an enclosure for chickens.The house has its own well and a reserve water tank of 9,000 litres.The property consists of two floors. The living area is on the first floor while the sleeping area is on the floor below.The living area has 2 entrances. The first entrance is located near the veranda terrace and gives access to a small kitchenette. Continuing on, one enters the living area which has a fireplace and a second entrance leading to the patio.The first floor also has a bathroom with shower.On the patio there is a staircase leading down to the sleeping area.This has a separate entrance not connected to the first floor.Here one can find 2 bedrooms and a further bathroom.On this same level there are then two small storerooms used today one as storage for gardening tools and one as storage for suitcases or little-used objects.The property is inhabited and habitable.Nevertheless, in our opinion, a general freshening up of the house could considerably improve the aesthetic condition.The windows are partly aluminium without double glazing and partly wooden, also without double glazing.Potentially, the house is a little paradise. With some renovation work, one could have a rustic stone house at an affordable cost.
