In the bend of Regge between Enter and Wierden, on the spot where this nature cottage now stands, there was already a farm in 1475. It was the ideal place to establish a farm: close to the water and yet safe enough from flooding. In the old days, a lot of transport took place by water, so it could be quite busy on the banks of the Regge. The farm soon became a meeting place for travelers, traders and hawkers. The hawkers' path that runs right past the nature cottage is a reminder of this. The current farmhouse is over 150 years old. The adjacent nature cottage can accommodate five people. In the past, the cottages were used to store hay, straw and corn, which was used to feed cattle in the stables in winter. Nowadays it is possible to spend the night in them. The nature cottage is equipped with every luxury, such as a Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher and even an infrared sauna. Experience an unforgettable vacation together....
