Helma is a beautiful 6 persons vacation bungalow and is situated on a spacious plot (700m2) on the bungalow park Roosdunen near the ballumerbos and the dunes. Our bungalow offers tranquility, comfort, space and relaxation. Because the bungalow is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, children can play freely and there is no car traffic. Helma has two lovely sun terraces. The ideal location makes the bungalow very popular with its guests.
From the bungalow you can walk straight into the woods and dunes. On the way to the beach and the sea you may encounter rabbits, cows or even a deer. Enjoy nature. There are beautiful hiking trails nearby. But you can also enjoy the many bicycle paths on the beautiful island.
The bungalow Helma offers you a pleasant, warm and comfortable stay. The bungalow has three bedrooms with box-spring beds. The bedroom windows are equipped with mosquito nets. One bedroom has a second TV. In the living room you can relax in the comfortable sitting area. Here there is also an air conditioner which can be set for both cold and warm air. There is a smart TV, DVD player and a stereo set. There is free secure WIFI. There are also games, books and DVDs available. The new bathroom has a luxurious rain shower and features two sinks. The renovated toilet is separate. The complete kitchen has induction cooking, integrated dishwasher, washing machine, combi oven-microwave, refrigerator and freezer. There is also a coffee maker, nespresso, kettle, toaster and a senseo.
One terrace has a lounge set and garden table with chairs and parasol, the other terrace has a lovely garden bench. There is also an outdoor bbq available for the summer months.
There is private parking at the bungalow.
Our guests have free use of the heated outdoor swimming pool De Schalken, open from mid-May to mid-September. There are also tennis courts, a laundry, miniature golf and trampolines at the pool. Walking distance ( 200 m.)
The beach and the village of Ballum are 5 - 10 minutes walk. The bus stop is 750 meters.
Near the village Ballum is a riding school, where you can ride horses on the many equestrian horses or the beautiful beach. And for guests who like a challenge, there is the possibility at the airport to make a great scenic flight above Ameland or to make an exciting tandem - or parachute jump.
In consultation, a pet is allowed. For all beds are single comforters available. Bed linen you can bring your own or you can rent from the administrator www.dsjb.nl. The changeover day is Saturday. In low season the changeover day is flexible. Cleaning costs € 75, -.
