The holiday flat is located in the countryside of Balestrate, a small town on the Gulf of Castellammare between Palermo and Trapani, on the northern coast of Sicily, in a typical Sicilian country house.
From the living room you can access the terrace, which is partly covered, where you can cook, eat and sunbathe. In the courtyard you can also relax in the shade of a mulberry tree. In front is a lemon grove and in the background you can see cypresses and pine trees. Parking is also available.
The flat is simply but comfortably furnished. The thick stone walls guarantee pleasant coolness in summer and warmth in winter. The living room includes a well-equipped kitchen, a sofa bed (140x200) and a dining table. There is a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with shower and WC. The total living area is 40 square metres. A cot can be added on request. Wi-Fi is available.
The village and the beach are about three kilometres from the house, while the airports of Palermo and Trapani can be reached in just 20-35 minutes by car. Many of Sicily's attractions are within walking distance, such as Scopello, the Zingaro Nature Reserve, San Vito lo Capo, Segesta, Erice, Monreale, Palermo and Selinunte. The beaches are mainly sandy and suitable for children, alternating with rocky shores. A restaurant is only 500 metres away, while shops can be found in the village, about three kilometres away.
