Among the various adjectival outbuildings of the pazo, which make up a typically Galician architectural ensemble, is the Casa do Caseiro, a dwelling designed to house the family that looked after the lord's estate, who did not usually live in the countryside. The Casa do Caseiro de Beca chalet is located within this exceptional environment, for which its original location was used by means of a successful renovation and adaptation of the spaces to current needs. The surrounding area (1.4 km) is dotted with the remains of a Roman road, a medieval bridge, a Gothic cross (the oldest in Galicia), the Lupario Hillfort and the Portuguese Way, close to Santiago (8 km).
